Being a college student and being a cook at the same time is a space that often require stepping back and saying "Okay, what can I do with what I've got here?" This usually means that whatever product comes out probably wouldn't have happened any place else. It also usually means some things that in the normal world wouldn't ever be put together end up in the same place at the same time on the same fork. Example? Repurposing your iron to make grilled cheese. (I want to try this some time.)

So...It's a guy going around finding 30 different things to make in a waffle iron.
I couldn't make things like this up. Honest, I couldn't.
But it sounds exactly like something a college student would do.
